Made for Arkavidia Game Jam

Cards, Camera, Action!

A Theatrical Deck-Building Roguelike

Note: The web version might have some bugs. Download the .exe for the best experience.

The Theme: Spoiler Alert

The game jam theme was "Spoiler Alert" —  In this game, you can see exactly what your enemies will do before they act, as if peeking at their script. But knowing the future doesn't mean you can escape it. You can plan your moves accordingly to either maximize damage or secure safety on the enemy's turn, OR both!

When the player's turn begins, each enemy will show their 5 "to-be played" cards, which can be affected by the player with cards that swap the order or remove them entirely.

The cinema is opened and the movie has started! —  Play through a theatre stage with unique enemies, all equipped with their own deadly tools to help enact their stageplay. Tickets are your cards, time to play the right movie!

Props of wonder — If cards aren't enough, an array of playful props for you to make your mark in the show is available. These Trinkets are tools with unique capabilities to boost your cards!

That's it for the intermission, Break A Leg!
